With enhanced precision and autonomous fire capabilities including multi-target engagement, the combat-proven guided mortar munitions require less manpower and fewer rounds of ammunition, minimizing the operational risk as well as precluding the need for a complex and vulnerable logistic tail.

Renowned for their reliability, pinpoint accuracy and performance, Elbit Systems’ mortar ammunition can be fired from any suitable and qualified smoothbore mortars in the customer’s inventory. The company offers a variety of products and effects, including High-Explosive (HE), Smoke, Illumination, and training rounds - available in 60mm, 81mm and 120mm calibers - and equipped with point detonating, proximity, and electronic fuses.

Elbit Systems’ battle-proven precision artillery ammunition with long-range capabilities includes highly effective extended-range High-Explosive (HE) and Super-High Explosive (S-HE) projectiles and advanced charge systems for 155mm gun firing systems with a 39, 45, and 52 caliber barrel.

The MK-1 is an advanced 125-mm high-velocity flat- trajectory armor piercing n-stabilized discarding-sabot tracered round. This round has been tested against various armored targets and has shown superior penetration capability in comparison with other 125-mm KE rounds. The low velocity drop of the sub-projectile in its flight towards the target ensures high penetration performance at all combat ranges.
